Sonnet/Silicon Image eSATA ExpressCards + Mac OS
R.,
We’d love to be able to fix the problem but the problem lies in the drivers we use from Silicon Image (the makers of the chipset in the card). It’ll be up to them to fix it and they don’t seem to be real concerned about the issue. We reported these problems back in November and they told us that they might get to looking at the problem near the end of February 2009. Well here it is, almost that time and we really haven’t heard much from the guys at SI.
We’re hoping that making this problem more public, it might light a fire under them.
